Question by Harold H: Do most futures traders purchase futures contracts in overseas exchanges as well as the domestic exchanges?
I am wondering whether it is common practice for the futures traders to watch and participate in overseas markets, and if so why would he or she do so. Am also wondering whether the prices of futures contracts on exchanges in different countries can influence each other to a significant degree.

Yes, it is common for futures trades to participate in overseas markets. They do so because there is good money to be made in those countries with stable economies. The futures prices have some impact upon other countries, it isn’t substantial, however.
